GigaVUE-212

The GigaVUE-212 is an economically priced, entry level Data Access Switch which aggregates, replicates, filters and divides traffic flows at full line rate across a multitude of monitoring tools. The GigaVUE-212 is ideal for data centers and enterprises who either require a low-cost option in order to enhance their network monitoring for the first time, or who have areas of their networks where they need lower port counts to support comprehensive monitoring.

GigaVUE-420

The GigaVUE-420 provides a cost effective solution to securing and monitoring data centers. Network and Security teams who face the problems of multiple network segments to monitor, multiple tools to deploy, too few SPAN ports and TAPs can now easily solve all of these issues.

The GigaVUE-420 base unit is available with 4 copper 10/100/1000 ports or four fiber optic SFP ports. Four optional 1Gbps expansion or TAP module bays are available on the front panel which allow four ports or two TAPs per bay. Four 10Gbps ports or two 10Gbps TAPs are available on the rear panel. When fully configured, the GigaVUE-420 supports four 10Gbps ports and twenty 1Gbps ports plus stacking.

GigaVUE-2404

The GigaVUE-2404 provides a revolutionary way of enhancing and centralizing monitoring capabilities for multiple 10Gbps connections at full line rate. Substantially reduce network monitoring footprint and lower total network management cost while realizing "day one" ROI. Targeted at the most demanding 10Gbps networks, the GigaVUE-2404 extends complete visibility across the entire network. Any tool can be connected to any data source at any speed or media at any time making the monitoring of your 10Gbps network affordable and easy to manage.

G-TAP

With the G-TAP, you can TAP up to 8 opitical uplinks. G-TAP is the highest density and most economical optical tapping system in the industry. The modular G-TAP design allows management of individual TAPs/links without effecting other TAPs/links and enabling a mixture of 10Gbps and 1Gbps or single-mode and multi-mode in the same chassis.

The external G-TAP system compliments Gigamon's industry leading GigaVUE Data Access Switch, combining high TAP density, optimal use of rack space and value pricing to create a flexible, one-stop connectivity solution.

GigaSMART

GigaSMART is a blade module for the GigaVUE-2404 that helps you solve your advanced network monitoring challenges. With GigaSMART's packet modification software modules, you can optimize the performance of analysis tools, enhance security, and reduce costs.

With GigaSMART, you can configure your GigaVUE-2404 to modify packets before data is sent to various network tools. It gives network engineers more flexibility to take advantage of packet slicing, masking, time stamping, and network ingress port labeling.

Citrus

Citrus provides network engineers with an intuitive, browser-based graphical user interface (GUI) for configuring your GigaVUE hardware and filters.

Using the most popular browsers, you can securely access your device and quickly make changes on the fly without the need for downloads or applets. Citrus supports SSL encryption for secure access.

Packet distribution is where GigaVUE's real power is on display. It's where you decide how traffic arriving on network ports should be sent to tool ports. You'll decide which traffic should be forwarded, where it should be sent and how it should be handled when it arrives. Packet distribution is managed from the connections window where you can preform aggregation, filtering and replication to maximize the efficiency of your security and monitoring tools.

Create connections, maps and pass-alls by clicking one port selection handle and dragging it from any network port to any tool port.

Citrus also offers (CLI) Command Line Interface integration, allowing users to apply hundreds, even thousands, of filters in a matter of seconds.
