Each student on the Network Security Essentials course will receive a FREE Sonicwall TZ 210 Firewall.
Course Description:
The Network Security Essentials (NSE) Course provides students the required background, knowledge and hand-on experience to begin designing, implementing and troubleshooting SonicWALL Security Appliances running SonicOS Enhanced Firmware.
Course Outline:
This technical course covers configuration and deployment of the SonicOS Enhanced firmware. Attendees will become technically familiar with a wide spectrum of SonicWALL’s innovated feature set such as Unified Threat Management (UTM), Single Sign On, VPN, Secure Wireless, Content Filtering and much more. While learning the wide array of security features SonicOS Enhanced has to offer, students will also learn validation of settings and troubleshooting techniques using the SonicWALL diagnostic tools. All training materials will be provided. Hands-on lab exercises to reinforce the presentation material.

Student Assessment: Formative evaluations (knowledge checks and hands-on exercises) are incorporated throughout the course, and the last 2 hours of day two is reserved for an online certification exam. Any participant who successfully completes this course and passes the certification exam will be deemed a Certified SonicWALL System Administrator (CSSA). A passing score is 75% or higher. Upon successfully passing the exam you will be sent an e-mail containing your CSSA certificate.
